I was interested in solar power, but I was holding off owing to the challenge of designing the system and choosing among dozens of vendors. A Sunrun rep happened to knock on my door, and we started to chat. It sounded good, so we set a follow-up meeting. Soon we were off and running. Sunrun did a site analysis, performed all the engineering design (including Tesla Powerwalls), computed the bill-of-materials, and installed the system. A few hitches arose, such as the need for a bigger main service box. No problem, Sunrun added that at no cost to me. Soon the system was up and running, and I am able to track its performance on the Tesla app. Throughout the process, Sunrun was responsive and competent. For me, Sunrun was the right choice."
"Worry free with Vivint We got a solar system from Vivint in 2014 at no cost. We purchase clean energy from them instead of the overpriced, polluting electric company. It has worked great for us. We signed up to be “green,” but we have also been saving money every month. The bill is super reliable every month and year. The sales rep was nice. He wasn’t pushy at all. He answered all of our questions and made the whole process quite clear and easy. It was much easier to get the info from him. Looking online took so much more time and didn’t really answer our questions. Vivint took care of everything. They designed the system for us to review, sent an employee out to do a survey of our home, handled the permit with the city, installed the system in a day, and scheduled inspections from the city and electric company all at no cost to us. The installers were done quickly, and we barely noticed they were there. They monitor the system through a digital meter, but other Vivint employees have stopped by a couple of times to check on us and confirm we were happy with the product. I also enjoy the peace of mind I get by not worrying when I leave the a/c on all day/night, or when the kids leave all of the lights on."
"Excited! When Bryce first knocked on our door I was very skeptical but his patient explanations and excitement won me over. I was impressed with how thoroughly our home was vetted and had no concerns if our roof could handle it and if the system would produce enough to be worth it. Everyone we dealt with was polite and competent. We are on a level payment plan with our electric company which hasn’t been adjusted yet but I can tell you it was very cool to look at the bar graph and see less than 1/3 the summer usage from last year. I know to expect the least amount of savings this first year, summer production and savings will be more than winter (which is perfect – we have gas heat!) and I didn’t have to lay out a penny. We aren’t responsible for any maintenance either. No cost, no maintenance AND I’m helping the environment… Two thumbs up!"
"Very Happy With Vivint Solar We really did our research and looked into several solar companies before deciding to go with Vivint Solar. I have five kids and a wife, and our bills used to be very high each month! I knew I had to do something to start saving money on our electric bills because it caused me a lot of stress since I am the sole provider for our family. Buying a solar system was out of the question because it is too expensive, and we did not want to get into any kind of program with a lease. Vivint Solar offers a program where they install and maintain the panels at no cost. They own the system, so now instead of paying PG&E an arm and a leg every month, we just pay Vivint for our electric bills. Once we got our panels installed, our bills were instantly cut in half! "Added more panels. We have had Sunrun for almost four years now. It cut our bill like $200 to $300 a month. But I wanted more. So I called and asked about adding more panels. We had 24 and just added 35 more. We also went with a flat monthly rate this time, which I think I’m going to love. Over all it will figure out the same. Also before we had what was called a true up bill where we also had an amount we paid to PG&E as well. We will basically be paying Sunrun now and no more big true ups. That part I like. We should get our first Sunrun bill next month. It takes about 3 to 4 months overall from start to finish, the team is professional and courteous. Our roof is guaranteed and insured through Sunrun and if your cell’s go out Sunrun replaces at no cost to you. Also our entire set up did not cost us one penny. You just have to go with their system for 20 years. Well if it is going to cut your utilities more than half why would you not continue it? We were used to paying on an average about $400 to $450 a month, we will now be paying only $141 a month for 12 months. Following year we will pay $145 for 12 months. By year 11 we will be paying only $120 a year. Each year our bill will go up $4. After 20 years you will own your system and have 4 different options on your panels. Hope I have answered and helped any of your questions. Hey it’s all about lowering your utilities and no out of pocket expense for us."

The install was in my humble opinion flawless! I made arrangements for an entire day for this install but much to my surprise they were done in no time.
